CA May Exams 2024 Dates: Would CA Inter, Final May Exams be Delayed? Students Wait for ICAI Notice Amid Reports
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI will now conduct the CA Foundation and Intermediate Exams thrice a year. Students are confused about its implementation as ICAI has not released official notice regarding this change. CA aspirants may note that the official notice on CA Foundation and Inter exams thrice a year will be issued soon on official website – icai.org.
Chartered Accountant Akshat Sharma took to platfrom X to explain how this change will be implemented. He tweeted, “As per my reliable sources new format CA Exams to be held as follows: May’24 – Inter/Final, September’24 – Foundation/Inter, November’24 – Final, January’25 – Foundation/Inter.”
Till now, the ICAI was conducting the CA Foundation, Inter and Final Exams twice a year in two sessions – one in May and June and second in November and December. Officials have not yet clarified if the change will be applicable for CA Final Exams as well.

ICAI CA Exam Postponed?
No, ICAI has not yet postponed the CA exams. ICAI CA Inter exams 2024 will be conducted on May 3, 5, and 7 for group 1, and May 9, 11, and 13 for group 2. Over4.3 lakh CA aspirsnts have enrolled for the May/June exam 2024. CA Final for Group 1 will be held on May 2, 4 and 6 and Group 2 on May 8, 10, 12. Thrre are high chances that CA Exams can be postponed due to CA Exam pattern and Lok Sabha elections. Aspirants are advised to keep visiting the official website and keep an eye on Twitter handles of associated CA for not missing updates.
