CBIC issued an advisory notice which stated, “In view of the Removal of Difficulty Order No. 01/2020 dated 25.06.2020, the restriction on filing revocation application, in case it was rejected, has been removed. Aggrieved taxpayers can file an application for revocation of cancellation of registration once again”.
The taxpayers who earlier filed the Appeal towards rejection of the Revocation Application can also apply for the revocation application if the judgement is still pending on that Appeal, said the CBIC.
For the filing of the revocation application, the taxpayers have to –
- Log In on GST Portal.
- Then search and navigate for Services.
- After that search for the Registration option.
- Then click on Application for Revocation option.
Services>Registration>Application for Revocation
